The "2025 Business Consuls Visit Changsha" & Industrial Supply-Demand Matchmaking Conference took place from April 24 to 25. During the event, 43 embassy and consulate officials and business representatives from 13 countries and regions across the Middle East, Central Asia, and Africa paid field visits to the Zoomlion Intelligent Industrial Park, the Changgao Electric Group, the Overseas Returnee Town, the Tianxin Digital Valley Smart Economy Innovation Industrial Base, the Hunan Big Data Trading Center, and other places. Nearly 100 Chinese and foreign participants gathered together, engaging in promotional activities and face-to-face exchanges.

The highlight of the event, "Face-to-Face Exchanges for Industrial and Economic Cooperation," provided a precise and efficient platform for dialogues between Chinese and foreign guests. Nearly 100 representatives held on-site discussions, focusing on sectors such as new energy, construction machinery, building materials, agriculture and food, and medical health. The Iranian Consulate General in Guangzhou, Hosseinali Darvishi Motevalli delivered a presentation, extending a sincere invitation to Changsha-based enterprises to invest and start businesses in Iran.

Presentations were made by representatives from the Ningxiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the Liuyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, and other industrial parks, along with representatives from the Hunan Zhongnan International Land Port Co., Ltd., as well as Armenian companies, and Palestinian enterprises. The presentations showcased respective strengths and cooperation potential in key areas such as new energy, construction machinery, and medical health, offering valuable partnership opportunities to the participating businesses.

The event was hosted by the Changsha Municipal People's Government and was co-organized by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Changsha Branch and the Office of Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee. This was another crucial step in Changsha's efforts to expand economic and trade cooperation with countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative. Additionally, the gathering served as one of the pre-events for the 2025 Changsha International Procurement and Industrial Collaborative Innovation Conference.
